Ownership passed on 5 May 2026 to Petroglyph Development Group (Snuneymuxw First Nation), whose wholly owned entities now operate the venue. Both the Great Canadian name and the logo appear under a limited licence. The same group, partnering with Musqueam Capital Corp., also acquired River Rock, in a sale that closed on 16 June 2026.

Guests who knew it as Hard Rock Casino Vancouver may note that the current name dates from December 2023.

Entry is reserved for adults who have reached the age of 19. From 26 June 2023, all visitors to casinos in B.C. have had to present physical photo ID issued by a government when entering.
