No. 1The resort

The address of River Rock Casino Resort is 8811 River Road, Richmond, BC V6X 3P8. Two partners have held the resort together since June 16, 2026: Musqueam Capital Corp (Musqueam Indian Band) and Petroglyph Development Group (Snuneymuxw First Nation). Those partners purchased the resort from Great Canadian Entertainment. BCLC, the province's Crown corporation, conducts, manages and operates commercial gaming in British Columbia.

The resort has a hotel with a spa, an indoor pool and a fitness centre. Details are on Staying at River Rock.

The Show Theatre hosts headline concerts and tribute acts.

The resort's own site is riverrock.com, and Great Canadian Entertainment, the former operator, still keeps a River Rock page. BCLC's Casinos BC listing gives the telephone number as 604-273-1895.

No. 2Opening hours and entry

Craps runs daily in the Action Arena, starting at 11 AM and ending at 2 AM. From Monday to Thursday, poker and the other live tables welcome players from 10 AM until 4 AM. They then stay open without pause from 10 AM Friday until 4 AM Monday. You may wish to check the resort's own site before a late visit.

Holiday hours are not published in a form the desk can confirm. If you are planning a visit around a statutory holiday, you may wish to check the resort's site beforehand.

Only people aged 19 or over may gamble in British Columbia. From June 26, 2023, entry to any B.C. casino has required physical photo ID issued by a government, presented at the door. Security scans the ID against a list of those barred from gambling facilities, which covers Game Break, BCLC's self-exclusion program. When someone is admitted, BCLC says it keeps none of their personal information.

Only original documents are accepted. Photos and copies are not. If proof of age is required, you will need to show a second piece of ID. The accepted documents include:

  • a B.C. or other North American driver's licence
  • a BC Identity Card (BCID) or BC Services Card
  • a Canadian or international passport
  • a permanent resident card or a Canadian citizenship card
  • a status card, formally the Secure Certificate of Indian Status
  • First Nations, Métis or Inuit band membership cards
  • government-issued foreign ID

The full list is on the Casinos BC ID page.

No. 3On the gaming floor

The casino has a large slot floor. It also has Privé Slots, which the operator describes as B.C.'s largest selection of $1 machines, with its own private dining area.

The live table games include:

  • baccarat
  • roulette
  • blackjack and Freebet Blackjack
  • Ultimate Texas Hold'em
  • Fortune Pai Gow
  • Four Card Poker

The Action Arena offers roulette, craps, $10 baccarat and $5 sic bo.

Stadium Gaming has 108 electronic table game terminals. The resort describes this as the largest selection in B.C. From a single terminal, you can bet on several live tables of baccarat, roulette and blackjack.

The resort's site lists a poker room with 10 tables offering Texas Hold'em. Poker runs unbroken from Friday 10 AM through Monday 4 AM; Monday to Thursday, it is played from 10 AM until 4 AM. The poker line is 604-247-8983.

Private and high-limit play takes place in the Maple Leaf Room and the Dogwood Room.

In every B.C. casino, a GameSense Info Centre staffed by GameSense Advisors sits on the gaming floor or close to it. They can help with Game Break enrolment.

No. 4Dining and lounges

  • Gordon Ramsay Steak: Canada's first Gordon Ramsay Steak, opened in 2025. It has a bar and lounge, an outdoor Marina Terrace and private dining, and the restaurant takes reservations.
  • The Chairman's Room Lounge: this lounge is on the third floor and serves à la carte dishes. Breakfast runs from 7 to 11:30 AM. You may wish to confirm closing times on the lounge page before you go.
  • The Chairman's Room Buffet: the resort's site gives conflicting information about which days the buffet runs. Please confirm on riverrock.com before planning around it.
  • Sea Harbour: Cantonese cuisine, dim sum and seafood. The resort lists hours of 10 AM to 3 PM and 5 to 10 PM. Tourism Richmond gives its address as 150-8888 River Road, across from the casino, so it may be in a separate building.
  • Privé Bar: a bar on the gaming floor. Its hours are not clearly published.

No. 5Rewards

River Rock's own site uses Encore Rewards, BCLC's loyalty program, as of October 2026.

Members earn points at slots and table games.

Points are best treated as a small courtesy rather than a reason to play longer than you had planned.

No. 6Before you set out

  • Bring original government-issued photo ID, and a second piece if you may be asked for proof of age.
  • The resort is connected to Bridgeport Station on the Canada Line by a covered walkway. See Canada Line and parking and From YVR airport.
